Physical Hauntological Commentary
Physical Hauntological Commentary is project which focuses on bring ‘haunted’ media to life. It briefly touches on subjects of commodification of our own nostalgia, imprisioning us in alternatives of the past. The project explores these ideas through the medium of hama beads, a medium I once used as a child. The work was also repeated in many different formats to present ideas of inescapable past. The work falls under irony, being unable to escape our own nostalgia ‘prisons’ that encapsulate us from ever moving forward.
